Wenn im Frühling/Sommer alles so schon blüht in unserem Garten, machen sich natürlich auch die Insekten bemerkbar, die wir ja oft als seine Plage empfinden. Ich habe dazu im PM einen interessanten Artikel gelesen und versuche hier einige Punkte zusammenzufassen.

ITALIANO

Quando in primavera/estate tutto fiorisce alla meraviglia nel nostro giardino, si fanno naturalmente anche vedere gli insetti, che spesso sentiamo come una noia. Ho letto un articolo interessante sul PM in merito a quest’ultimi che cercherò di riassumere alcuni punti.

ENGLISH

When everything is blooming so beautifully in spring and autumn in our garden, then we, of course, get aware of the insects, which we frequently consider a pest. In relation to this I’ve read an interesting article in the PM magazine and shall try to summarize some points.

1. Etliche von uns würden Wespen am liebsten totschlagen, wenn diese das Marmeladenbrot umkreisen oder das Limonadenglas ansteuern. Dabei fressen Wespen die so viel lästigeren Mücken und stechen selbst nur, wenn sie sich bedroht fühlen- etwa, weil der Mensch wild um sich schlägt.

• Parecchi fra di noi ucciderebbero con piacere le vespe che girano intorno al nostro pane con marmellate oppure prendono di mira il nostro succo di limone dimenticando che queste vespe mangiano i moscerini che sono infatti molto più noiosi e pungendoci unicamente quando si sentono minacciate e, perché l’essere umano gesticola intorno a se.
• Many of us would like to kill the wasps, when they are circling around our jam tart. or when they flying towards our lemonade glass., despite the fact that they eat the much more annoying midges and only prick when they feel menaced, because, maybe the human beings are lashing about. 

 PS:Wenn wir erfrieren, sobald die Körpertemperatur auf 26 Grad sinkt, erzeugen Marienkäfer ein Frostschutzmittel!

When we perish by cold as soon as  the body temperature drops to 26 degrees, the ladybird produces an antifreeze!

Quando noi moriamo non appena che la temperatura del corpo scende a 26 gradi, le coccinelle producono un antigelo!

2. Es scheint, dass zu Beginn ihrer Entwicklung die meisten Insekten riesengross waren. Ur-Schaben oder Ur-Libellen brachten es auf Flügelspannweiten von rund 70 Zentimetern. Doch him Laufe der Zeit wurden diese immer kleiner. Die Wissenschaft glaubte lange, dass ein gesunkener Sauerstoffgehalt der Luft die Tiere schrumpfen liess. Inzwischen Weiss man, dass sie sich sozusagen dünne machten, um nicht so leicht von den Vögeln entdeckt zu werden.

• Sembra che la maggior parte degli insetti sono stati giganti all’origine del loro sviluppo. Gli scarafaggi e libellule originali hanno avuto un’apertura alare di circa 70 centimetri. Nel corso del tempo le stesse sono diventate sempre più piccolo. La scienza ha per tanto tempo creduto che questo sviluppo sia stato perché l’aria ossigenata sia stata ridotta e ciò avrebbe rimpiccioliti gli animali. Nel frattempo è arrivata alla conclusione che gli animali sono diventati più piccoli per non essere visti dagli uccelli!
• It seems that at the beginning of their development the majority of the insects were gigantic. The original cockroaches or dragonflies had a wing width of about 70 centimeters but in the course of time they grew less big. Science thought for a long time that this was of reduced oxygen concentration in the air that made the animals diminish. In the meantime one knows that they made themselves smaller so as not to be seen so easily by the birds.

3.Die Insekten sind ein faszinierendes Geheimnis und eine Notwendigkeit für das Überleben der übrigen Welt. Ohne sie würden viele Vögel vehungern.

The insects represent a fascinating secret and a necessity for the survival of the rest of the world. Without them many kinds of birds would die of hunger.

Gli insetti rappresentano un segreto affascinante e una necessità per la sopravvivenza del resto dell’universo. Senza di loro tanti uccelli morirebbero.

In my short video in English about this topic there in an animal that is not an insects. Do you know its name and to which family the animal belongs to?

In meinem Video hat sich ein Tier eingeschlichen,das nichts mit einem Insekt zu tun hat. Kennt ihr  zufällig dessen Namen und zu welcher Ordnung es gehört? Nel mio video sull’argomento si vede un animale che non è per niente un insetto. Come si chiama ed a quale famiglia appartiene?:
